More than 500 attendees sampled soups, raising more than $5,000. Chefs Jeremy Martindale and Eli Laidlaw of e Alexander hotel proved the crowd favorite with a Mexican chicken stew with sweet potato biscuits. e event also featured custom bowls made by local artisans with fellow Indy non-profit ArtMix Indiana, North Central High School and Second Helpings' own Chef Liz Gimenez. 130 slmag.net
