"A large proportion of our business here is local," Harlan-Oprisu continued. "We have customers who may visit Northside Social one day of the week, and Delicia another. Pizza gives them another option." Keeping regular customers close is something Harlan-Oprisu and her partners do particularly well. Within the group's Broad Ripple-based family of restaurants, Northside Social is only open for dinner and drinks. Chef Sample, formerly of the Meridian, performs double duty in the Nook kitchen, serving lunch six days a week next door at the Northside Kitchenette, a light, airy space opened in 2010. With a light menu of sandwiches, salads and breakfast dishes served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the sought-after lunch spot can get pleasantly boisterous at peak hours, making the covered patio a popular respite for those seeking a bit more solitude. Further down College Avenue at 52nd Street, Delicia and La Mulita offer a lively pan-American experience defined by innovative modern Latin cuisine. 88
